How it works, step by step
It all starts with a 45-minute conversation at our office in Centru - or over the phone, if that's easier. The matchmaker asks not just what you're looking for, but what hasn't worked before. Then you fill in your profile, show your ID card, and together we set the criteria: age range, children, plans, the things you won't compromise on and the things you can. From that point, the search is our job.

We choose the place and time together. After the first date we talk through how it went and decide what's next.
Who chooses your matches
Valentina Rusu has been introducing people in Chișinău since 2014. She started by setting up mutual acquaintances, and has since built the most carefully vetted member base in the city. She doesn't use algorithms and doesn't promise miracles: she reads the profiles, calls people, asks the awkward questions, and only then suggests a date.
Her rule is simple: she never introduces someone she wouldn't recommend to a close friend. That's why some profiles are turned down at interview stage - and why the dates she arranges tend to go somewhere.

Where we arrange first dates
The first date matters, so we don't leave it to chance. We usually choose a quiet café in Centru - near Cathedral Park, on the pedestrian street Eugen Doga, or on Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard - at a time when it isn't busy. We book the table, confirm with both sides the day before, and stay on the phone if any last-minute nerves come up. Nothing fancy: a coffee and an hour's conversation say more than a week of messages.

How do you verify that profiles are real?
